Job summary

Helping Hands Mount Samson and Dayboro is seeking an inspiring OSHC Assistant Coordinator to join our growing service. You will lead a team of educators and oversee an engaging before- and after-school program for children aged 5-12 years, shaping culture and ensuring quality.

This permanent, part-time role (20.25 hours per week) offers split shifts, Monday to Friday, ideal for students studying education, psychology, or health-related fields who can fit around their timetable.

Qualifications

• Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check (covered by us).
• State Working-with-Children check.
• National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko).
• QLD 2 Year Qualified Educator status or working towards (ACECQA).

Responsibilities

• Design and help lead a vibrant, child-centered program for 5–12 year olds.
• Assist with rosters, daily operations, compliance and administration.
• Build a positive, inclusive team culture where Educators feel supported and proud.
• Partner with families, the school community and internal stakeholders to grow the service.
