Job summary

Blacktown City Council is seeking an OSHC Assistant for the Kids Early Learning Colyton service. You will help welcome children, set up activities, supervise play, and support daily routines within Outside School Hours Care (6:30am - 9:30am and 2:00pm - 6:00pm).

You will work with a team to ensure a safe, engaging environment, assist with meals, travel to school, and provide first aid when needed, contributing ideas to keep children engaged and growing.

Qualifications

• Energetic and reliable, with a genuine enjoyment of working with children.
• Hours fit around the school day.
• Support for families and team members.

Responsibilities

• Set up activities and prepare resources.
• Supervise children during play and group programs.
• Help maintain a clean, safe and organised environment.
• Support children travelling to and from school.
• Assist with meals and routines.
• Administer minor first aid when required.
• Share important information with families and team members.
• Contribute ideas for activities that engage and develop children.
