Job summary

Blacktown City Council is hiring an Child Care OSHC Aide to support daily operations of the outside school hours care service. You will set up activities, supervise children, monitor wellbeing and help maintain a safe, engaging environment before and after school.

Work aligns with school hours (6:30am–9:30am and 2:00pm–6:00pm). A caring, reliable candidate joins a supportive team, contributing to positive daily experiences for children and families.

Qualifications

• Previous experience caring for children preferred.
• Ability to set up and supervise activities.
• Commitment to safety and wellbeing.
• Good communication with parents and carers.

Responsibilities

• Set up and pack away activities and equipment.
• Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play.
• Monitor children's wellbeing and respond to needs.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organised spaces.
• Record keeping and liaising with families.
