Job summary

Blacktown City Council is seeking an OSHC Assistant to welcome children into a safe and engaging environment for before and after school care. You will help set up activities, supervise play and group programs, assist with meals and routines, and share important information with families and team members.

This is a permanent full-time role with hours around the school day. You will work in a supportive team, gain experience in early childhood education, and contribute ideas for activities.

Responsibilities

• Set up activities and prepare resources.
• Supervise children during play and group programs.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised environment.
• Assist children with meals and routines; supervise travel to/from school.
• Administer minor first aid when required and share information with families and team.
