Job summary

Ramsay Health Care in Nowra is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a part-time, 12-month fixed-term Scrub/Scout role in Orthopaedic Perioperative. You will support safe patient care throughout the surgical journey, assisting with procedures and maintaining a sterile operating environment.

You will work under Nurse Unit Manager and shift leaders, coordinating care and ensuring the team has the necessary instruments and supplies while adapting to dynamic clinical situations and MDT

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months perioperative scrub/scout experience.
• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage emergencies.
• Demonstrates adaptability in dynamic situations.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist with orthopaedic procedures and maintain a sterile operating environment.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and ensure instruments/equipment are available.
• Assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate patient care across the surgical journey.
