Job summary

Uniting is seeking an Organisational Enablement Specialist to join the People & Culture team in Parramatta CBD on a 4-month full-time fixed-term contract with hybrid working arrangements. The role focuses on embedding skills frameworks, developing career pathways, and using data to measure impact, aligned with Uniting's strategy.

You will partner with leaders to deliver practical initiatives that strengthen capability, engagement and workforce effectiveness, starting ASAP.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in organisational development, HR or related field.
• Experience with capability/skills frameworks and translating them into tools or career options.
• Tertiary qualification in HR, psychology, or organisational learning and development.

Organisational Enablement Specialist

Parramatta CBD | 4-month full-time fixed-term contract | Hybrid | Start ASAP

Join Uniting's People & Culture team and help shape practical initiatives that strengthen capability, career development and workforce effectiveness.

As part of the Organisational Enablement team, you'll partner with leaders and teams to deliver initiatives that support engagement, culture and capability, using evidence, data and best practice to create meaningful outcomes aligned to Uniting's strategy.

What you'll do

• Lead the embedding of Uniting's skills framework across relevant people practices, tools and initiatives.
• Lead the design and delivery of career pathways, working with stakeholders to create clear and practical career development and mobility options.
• Use data and insights to measure impact, inform decisions and continuously improve initiatives.
• Apply evidence-based practice, research and emerging technologies to develop effective solutions.
• Develop clear, engaging communications to promote Organisational Enablement initiatives and outcomes.

What you'll bring

• Relevant tertiary qualification in HR, psychology, organisational learning and development or a related discipline.
• 5+ years' experience in organisational development, HR or a related discipline.
• Experience working with capability or skills frameworks and translating them into practical tools, development options or career pathways is highly desirable.

This is a hands-on four-month contract, starting ASAP. We're looking for someone with the experience and confidence to step in from day one, hit the ground running and make an immediate contribution.

This is a fixed-term opportunity with the potential for extension, subject to organisational requirements.
