Job summary

Westhaven in Orange, NSW is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to empower children and young people with disabilities. Your role combines mentoring with practical daily living skill development and community activities.

You will maintain progress notes, support mobility and social outings, and work within a diverse, justice-focused team. ACertificate III/IV in Disability or related field is required, with a NSW driver’s licence and WWCC/NDIS checks essential.

Qualifications

• Hold a Certificate III or IV in Disability, Community Services or related field.
• Valid NSW Driver’s Licence.
• Current First Aid & CPR certifications.
• A Paid Working with Children Check (WWCC) and NDIS Worker Check.
• Availability to work across a 24/7 rotating roster.

Responsibilities

• Supporting children in developing essential daily living skills.
• Facilitating social outings and community engagement.
• Maintaining accurate case notes and progress tracking.
