Job summary

Adactin Group, a 100% Australian-owned IT consulting company based in Sydney, is seeking a Senior Oracle Database Developer. You will design, develop, and maintain Oracle database solutions using PL/SQL, stored procedures, and complex SQL queries, and build Oracle APEX-based applications.

You will translate business requirements into scalable data models, perform SQL/PLSQL tuning, and collaborate with delivery, BA, testing, and infra teams to ensure smooth deployments and production support.

Qualifications

• Design, develop and maintain Oracle database solutions using PL/SQL, procedures and complex SQL.
• Develop Oracle APEX applications with interactive reports and forms.
• Translate business requirements into scalable data models and technical solutions.
• Perform SQL/PLSQL development, optimization and troubleshooting for high-volume apps.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Oracle database solutions using PL/SQL, stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and complex SQL queries.
• Develop and enhance applications using Oracle APEX, including interactive reports, forms, dashboards, validations, and custom components.
• Translate business and functional requirements into scalable database designs and data models.
• Perform SQL/PLSQL development, query optimization, performance tuning, and database troubleshooting.
• Exposure to SOA Integration Architecture.
• Develop and maintain APEX-based web applications integrating with Oracle databases and external systems via APIs/REST.
• Implement data migration, transformation, validation and reconciliation processes using PL/SQL and Oracle utilities.
• Collaborate with application, BA, testing and infrastructure teams for integration, deployments and production issues.
• Follow database development standards including code reviews, version control, documentation, security and performance best practices.
