Job summary

Green Light Worldwide is seeking an experienced Oracle Technical Lead to join a large-scale government-oriented project. The role covers end-to-end design, development, and delivery of Oracle E-Business Suite customisations, with emphasis on payroll, HR, and integrations across multiple enterprise domains.

You will mentor teams and work closely with functional consultants and stakeholders. The position requires Australian Citizenship for government compliance, extensive enterprise experience,

Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle EBS end-to-end design, development, and delivery.
• Hands-on payroll, HR and Benefits modules in Oracle EBS.
• Strong PL/SQL, SQL experience and data migration activities.
• Experience in systems integration between EBS and external apps.
• Knowledge of Australian payroll requirements (STP, awards).
• Experience with Agile delivery in enterprise projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end technical design, development and delivery of Oracle EBS customisations, extensions and enhancements.
• Design and implement complex integrations between Oracle EBS and external enterprise applications.
• Oversee data migration activities, including data mapping, cleansing and reconciliation.
• Develop and maintain custom reports, interfaces and workflows to support business needs.
• Provide technical leadership to development teams and ensure coding standards are followed.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Conduct impact assessments, performance tuning, troubleshooting and RCA for system issues.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture, security, governance and change management.

Job description

Green Light has an exciting opportunity for a high calibre, experienced Oracle Technical Lead to join one of our delivery partners. This team provides the end-to-end delivery capability for an established project for a large end customer.

The customer is a Federal government agency and will require a minimum of Australian Citizenship to fulfill these requirements.

Key to success in this position will be previous experience working across an enterprise environment and participating in a wide-scale implementation and overall delivery. The role will work concurrently on various projects across different enterprise end customers - BSFI, government, professional services, enterprise retail, commercial, supply chain etc.

We also have a need for Oracle EBS Funtional Leads for various aspects of the ongoing project.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end technical design, development, and delivery of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) customisations, extensions, and enhancements aligned to business requirements.
• Design and implement complex integrations between Oracle EBS and external enterprise applications using approved integration frameworks and architecture standards.
• Oversee data migration activities, including data mapping, cleansing, validation, conversion, and reconciliation during implementations and upgrades.
• Develop and maintain custom reports, interfaces, workflows, and reporting solutions to support operational and strategic business needs.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to coding standards, best practices, and solution quality.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and project teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Conduct technical impact assessments, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis for system issues and enhancements.
• Ensure all technical deliverables comply with enterprise architecture, security, governance, and change management standards while supporting ongoing platform stability and support.

Requirements:

• Experience in Oracle eBusiness Suite - including payroll, absence, T&L and Benefits
• Good understanding and hands-on experience working on the Oracle EBS Payroll, both functional and technical
• Solid understanding of Oracle EBS Human resources and Payroll data models ad integration and impact between modules
• Experience in integration between HCM Cloud and Oracle eBusiness
• The specialist knowledge of Oracle eBusiness Payroll and related functionality, including Oracle Fast Formulas SQL and PL/SQL, Oracle BI Publisher, Oracle WebADI, Oracle Workflows, Unix shell scripting, OAF knowledge
• Knowledge of Australian Payroll locations e.g. Single Touch Payroll, Long Service Leave, Award Interpretation
• Experience in JAVA will be an advantage
• Able to understand business requirements and solutions
• Experience in end-to-end implementation projects
• Experience in providing systems support and problem-solving in complex environments, involving activities like problem isolation, triage, RCA and remediation working across several teams
• Passionate about quality design, coding standards and good documentation
• Experience in working with Agile and persistent teams will be highly valued
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong communications - written, verbal and presentation skills
