Job summary

DXC Technology Australia Pty Limited is seeking a Senior Oracle Applications DBA to design and implement Oracle E-Business Suite environments, lead technical engagements, and provide pre-sales consultancy. You will mentor DBA teammates and collaborate with intraprofessional groups to drive reliable, scalable solutions.

The role requires a strong foundation in Oracle databases (11i to R12, 10g–24c) across UNIX/Linux and Windows, with expertise in security, recovery, tuning, and patching.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of experience with implementations and upgrades in Oracle Applications (11i and R12).
• Strong experience with Oracle databases across UNIX/Linux and Windows platforms (10g–24c).
• Proficient in administering database security, data recovery, performance tuning, and patching for Oracle E-Business Suite.
• Excellent SQL writing and tuning capabilities; able to troubleshoot complex issues.

Responsibilities

• Design and build Oracle DB and E-Business Suite environments to meet business needs.
• Lead technical engagements with clients and guide via authoritative recommendations.
• Provide pre-sales consultancy for Oracle Database customers, especially E-Business Suite.
• Mentor DBA team members and share knowledge across the project portfolio.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and travel as required.
