Job summary

NCS Australia is seeking an Oracle APEX Developer to join our team and advance business applications on the Oracle APEX low-code platform. You will design, configure, and enhance apps, while translating business needs into effective technical solutions.

We value strong SQL skills, a solid database foundation, and expertise in application configuration and troubleshooting. You will collaborate with stakeholders, document development standards, and support deployments and upgrades.

Qualifications

• Significant hands-on experience as an Oracle APEX Developer in enterprise environments.
• Strong practical experience with the Oracle APEX low-code platform.
• Strong SQL skills and solid understanding of relational databases.
• Good knowledge of RDBMS and database concepts, including tables, views, queries and data relationships.
• Strong experience in application configuration and customisation.
• Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving capability across applications and databases.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into effective APEX solutions.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, develop and enhance applications using Oracle APEX.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions.
• Configure and customise APEX applications, components, forms, workflows and reports.
• Write and troubleshoot SQL and use scripting/coding where required to support APEX solutions.
• Work extensively with relational databases and RDBMS concepts.
• Investigate and resolve application, configuration, data and database-related issues.
• Perform application troubleshooting, debugging and performance optimisation.
• Support application deployment, upgrades, enhancements and ongoing maintenance.
• Provide technical advice and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
