Job summary

Origin Energy is seeking an Optimisation Specialist to join the Business Support team. You’ll identify opportunities, streamline processes and deliver practical BI and automation solutions that drive value for embedded networks, clients and the business.

You’ll lead data-driven projects, maintain Power BI reporting and collaborate across functions to maximise efficiency, reduce waste and support pricing and forecasting initiatives. Melbourne or other major cities in Australia are acceptable.

Qualifications

• Experience in embedded network management, optimisation or a related analytical environment.
• Strong analytical skills with complex data sets.
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau, Excel and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement optimisation strategies for client embedded networks.
• Analyse performance data, identify trends and recommend improvements.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver optimisation and BI projects.
• Own and maintain Power BI reporting, automation and optimisation tools.
• Lead annual price change and budget forecasting projects.
• Prepare clear client and management reporting, including forecasts and sustainability insights.
