Job summary

CareVicinity is seeking a BI Developer in Brisbane to build dashboards, data models, and automation that empower smarter decision-making across the organisation. You will design scalable data solutions, implement AI-driven processes, and translate business needs into reliable data products.

You’ll work with AWS data services and modern BI tools to deliver production-ready reporting for leadership, operations, and finance, helping improve efficiency and governance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in BI development, analytics engineering, data engineering, or data analytics.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics or related discipline.
• Strong SQL and Python skills, with experience building reliable data pipelines, models, automation, and data quality processes.
• Hands-on AWS experience across data services (including S3, Lambda, Step Functions, and cloud databases).
• Experience developing production dashboards and reporting solutions using modern BI tools such as QuickSight, Power BI, or Tableau.

• Design and optimise AWS data pipelines and SQL transformation layers to turn raw data into reliable, business-ready information.

• Leverage AI and automation to reduce manual effort through solutions such as document extraction, summarisation, classification, and natural-language data access.
• Provide analysis and insights that support business decisions, funding, claiming, and compliance requirements.
