Job summary

Specsavers Geelong is seeking an Optical Dispenser to join our team on a part-time basis (3-4 days). You will be a vital part of the patient journey, interpreting prescriptions and helping customers choose frames and lenses.

We offer full training from basic to advanced dispensing, a Cert IV in Optical Dispensing is desirable but not essential, and a supportive team environment with perks including eyewear allowances, birthday leave, and access to Specsavers Perks.

Qualifications

• Experience in optics and hands-on customer-focused role.
• Training from basic to advanced dispensing with opportunity for Cert IV.
• Ability to explain contact lens specs and suitability.
• Strong customer service and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and analyse prescriptions to ensure customers get what they need.
• Assist customers in selecting frames and take accurate measurements for a perfect fit.
• Perform thorough checks and adjustments to spectacles prior to collection.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and explain promotions, products, and lens specs.
