Job summary

Veolia ANZ is seeking an experienced Plant Operator to manage the safe and efficient operation of fixed and mobile plant equipment at our Brooklyn, VIC facility. You will contribute to high safety standards and operational excellence while ensuring waste materials are treated using appropriate technologies.

The role emphasizes a strong safety culture, teamwork and adherence to procedures, with a Monday–Friday schedule and overtime opportunities as needed.

Qualifications

• Mechanical experience with process pumps, valves, fittings and pipework.

Responsibilities

• Operating fixed and mobile plant equipment in accordance with safety protocols.
• Processing waste materials through various treatment methods and technologies.
• Contributing to safety initiatives and helping develop operational procedures.

The Opportunity

Veolia ANZ is seeking an experienced Operator - Industrial Liquid Plant to join our team in Brooklyn, VIC (3012).

As a Plant Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of both fixed and mobile plant equipment at our facility. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining our high standards of operational excellence and safety performance.

What you'll be responsible for

Operating fixed and mobile plant equipment in accordance with safety protocols

Processing waste materials through various treatment methods and technologies

Contributing to safety initiatives and helping develop operational procedures

Ensuring work areas are maintained to high cleanliness and safety standards

What you'll need to be successful

Mechanical experience with process pumps, valves, fittings & pipework (desirable)

Waste industry experience (advantageous but not essential)

Strong team player with a positive attitude

Demonstrated commitment to safety
