Job summary

iContracting Group is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator for our Rio Tinto Brockman 4 project in Western Australia. The role involves operating 36-tonne excavators on steep terrain to support drill-pad construction, access preparation, drainage and rehabilitation works.

Applicants must have proven excavator experience in steep terrain, current RIIMPO301E competency, a valid licence and White Card, and the ability to work safely in remote areas. GPS/machine-control experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven excavator experience in steep terrain.
• Experience operating CAT 336 or similar excavators.
• Competent in drill-pad construction, battering, benching, drainage and final trimming.
• Current RIIMPO301E excavator competency.
• Strong understanding of safe machine positioning and slope limitations.
• GPS/machine-control experience preferred.
• Current driver’s licence and White Card.
• Ability to pass a medical and drug/alcohol screen.
• Strong safety focus and ability to work independently in remote areas.

Responsibilities
