Operator

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Operator to join our Wagga Wagga team. In this hands-on role, you will play a key part in the safe and efficient operation of our recycling facility, operating a range of mobile plant and equipment while supporting the day-to-day activities of the yard.

Working as part of a close-knit team, you will assist with the receival, processing, and dispatch of materials, maintain high housekeeping standards, and contribute to a safe, productive, and customer-focused environment.

What you’ll be doing:

• Load and unload trucks, skip bins, and trailers safely and efficiently.
• Operate plant and equipment, including forklifts, material handlers, loaders, and excavators
• Grade, sort, and manage ferrous and non-ferrous metals to meet operational and quality requirements.
• Assist with receiving, processing, and dispatching materials.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, and operational procedures.
• Identify and report hazards, incidents, and unsafe conditions.

What you’ll bring:

• Current forklift licence and as well as operating experience.

• Knowledge of metal grading and recycling processes would be an advantage.
• Experience operating heavy mobile plant and equipment.
