Job summary

Rio Tinto is seeking experienced Haul Truck Operators for a Gove mining operation on a long-term casual FIFO contract. Flights from Cairns or Darwin are provided, with a 4 days on / 4 nights / 8 off roster and 12-hour shifts across rotating days and nights.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating haul trucks in production mining.
• Strong exposure to large mining equipment and CAT fleet.
• Safety-focused teamwork and proactive approach.
• Willingness to complete PEM, D&A and spirometry medicals.

Chandler Macleod is currently seeking experiencedHaul TruckOperators to join Rio Tinto, at their established mining operation in Gove, Northern Territory.

This is a great opportunity to secure long‑term work with Rio working across a modern fleet in a supportive and safety‑focused environment.

We’re offering flexible work arrangements to suit your lifestyle

• FIFO roster: 4 days, 4 nights, 8 off
• 12‑hour shifts across rotating day and night roster
• 12‑month casual contract with strong potential for extension
• FIFO flights provided from Cairns or Darwin

You’ll be working across a well‑maintained CAT fleet, including

• 777 Haul Trucks
• 992 and 993 Loaders
• D11 Dozers
• 16M Graders
• 773 Water Carts
• 854 Wheel Dozers

We’re looking for operators who can hit the ground running and add value to a high-performing team

• Proven experience operating HME in a production mining environment
• Strong exposure to haul trucks and large mining equipment
• A proactive approach to safety and teamwork
• Ability to work rotating rosters
• Willingness to complete medicals including PEM, D&A and spirometry
