Job summary

Rio Tinto is seeking an experienced HME operator for its Gove operation in the Northern Territory. The role involves working across a modern fleet in a safety-focused environment, on a 4 days/4 nights FIFO roster with 12-hour shifts.

Contract is 12-month casual with strong extension potential. FIFO flights are provided from Cairns or Darwin to support a stable, long-term assignment. Candidates must be able to pass PEM, D&A, and spirometry medicals and work within a safety‑driven team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating HME in a production mining environment.
• Strong exposure to haul trucks and large mining equipment.
• A proactive approach to safety and teamwork.
• Ability to work rotating rosters.
• Willingness to complete medicals including PEM, D&A and spirometry.
