Job summary

Depulu Wheel Reconditioners on the Gold Coast is seeking an experienced Operations/Workshop Manager to lead the day-to-day workshop activities, driving efficiency, quality workmanship and outstanding customer service.

This hands-on role requires you to manage workflow, coordinate the team and ensure turnaround times are met while maintaining a safe working environment. Automotive service management experience, with wheel repair knowledge, is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years experience as an automotive industry service/workshop manager.
• Experience or knowledge in wheel repair or related processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day workshop operations and ensure high-quality workmanship.
• Manage workflow to maximise productivity and meet turnaround times.
• Provide hands-on support and jump in where needed to assist the team.

A well-established, Queensland-based business is seeking an experienced and motivated Operations/Workshop Manager.

Depulu Wheels, located in Ashmore on the Gold Coast, is Australia’s most established and leading wheel repair workshop, operating now for 37 years.

About the Role:

You will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the workshop, ensuring efficiency, high-quality workmanship, and excellent customer service.

Working closely with the team, you will manage workflow effectively in order maximise productivity and ensure turnaround times are met.

This is a hands on position, so you will need to be willing to learn all aspects of the business and jump in to provide support when and where needed.

What We’re Looking For:

You will have at least 5 years experience as an automotive industry service / workshop manager.

Ideally you will have some experience / Knowledge in wheel repair, or at least areas of the repair process.
