Boeing Defence Australia at RAAF Base Williamtown is seeking an Operations Team Lead to coordinate the Wakulda Operations Support Team. You will be the operational engine balancing 24/7 RAAF requirements with Boeing and Defence partners to keep the command and control system mission-ready.

The role focuses on when, where and who rather than the technical details, managing workflow, dynamic resourcing, and performance reporting to ensure maintenance is timely and compliant.

Qualifications

• Proven experience coordinating teams or workflows in mission-critical environments.
• Exceptional ability to manage complex, changing schedules based on real-time demand.
• Strong communication with military personnel, government customers, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operational planning for Wakulda Service Technicians to meet mission requirements.
• Manage a fluid 24/7 schedule and ensure resources are deployed timely.
• Coordinate routine and deeper-level maintenance activities with appropriate leads.
• Serve as liaison to RAAF units and Defence customer, providing real-time status updates.
• Escalate technical issues to Boeing Engineering and ensure integrated support.
• Track issues (Trouble Reports) and report KPIs on maintenance execution and system availability.
