Job summary

Boeing Defence Australia is seeking an Operations Team Lead to guide the Wakulda Operations Support Team embedded with the Royal Australian Air Force. You will coordinate daily activities to keep the command and control system mission-ready and ensure seamless interaction between RAAF units, Boeing engineers, and Defence customers.

The role emphasises orchestration of workflows, real-time resourcing, and performance reporting in a high-tempo environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience coordinating teams or workflows in a high-tempo, mission-critical environment.
• Exceptional ability to manage complex, changing schedules and prioritise tasks based on real-time demand.
• Excellent communication with military personnel, government customers, and internal engineering teams.
• Meticulous documentation, reporting (KPIs), and admin workflow management.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operational planning for Wakulda Service Technicians to meet mission requirements.
• Manage a highly fluid 24/7 schedule and adapt in real-time to operational needs.
• Coordinate maintenance scheduling and ensure resources are deployed effectively.
