Medical Edge Australia is seeking a proactive Operations Support Officer to help keep our operations running seamlessly. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role coordinating people, logistics and resources across events, healthcare and transport operations.

We’re looking for a proactive and highly organised Operations Support Officer to help keep our operations running seamlessly.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where no two days are the same. You’ll play a key part in coordinating people, logistics, and resources, working closely with internal teams, field staff, clients, and stakeholders to support critical service delivery across events, healthcare, and transport operations.
Provide day-to-day operational and administrative support across services
Develop and manage workforce rosters to ensure full operational coverage
Allocate staff, vehicles, and equipment to meet dynamic service needs
Process and review timesheets in line with awards and compliance requirements
Respond to real-time operational changes, including shift gaps and resourcing issues
Coordinate logistics including equipment, stock control, and depot readiness
Support planning and delivery of event medical services, including on-site assistance
Maintain accurate records, reporting, and documentation
Build strong relationships with staff, clients, and external stakeholders
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
Post induction and probation you will be rostered to assist with the National Duty Manager phone line

Experience in operations, administration, logistics, or rostering
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Confidence working independently and as part of a team
Strong systems skills and ability to quickly learn new tools
Bonus points for experience in healthcare, emergency services, or event operations.
Ideally a minimum Certificate III in Business (or equivalent) is preferred for this role.
Applicants holding qualifications in emergency care or experience in the sector will be at an advantage.
