Job summary

Water Technology in Australia is seeking an experienced Operations Support Team Lead to empower a nationwide team responsible for project administration, business systems and office operations. You will drive performance, support forecasting and invoicing, and lead continuous improvement initiatives across the business.

The role reports to the National Manager Operations Support and requires strong stakeholder engagement, process improvement and leadership of a dispersed team in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Experience leading operational teams and coordinating support staff.
• Strong skills in project administration, budgeting and invoicing processes.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Familiarity with business systems and technology platforms such as SharePoint and the Power Platform.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a geographically dispersed Operations Support team.
• Manage team workload, resourcing, performance and capability development.
• Provide expert support on project administration, financial processes and business systems.
• Partner with Project Managers to support project forecasting, invoicing, budgeting and project performance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, consistency and service delivery.
• Act as a key subject matter expert for operational systems and processes.
• Support office operations, facilities management and workplace experience initiatives.
• Coordinate national office services and supplier management programs.
• Analyse operational data to identify opportunities to improve business performance.
• Build strong relationships with leaders and stakeholders across the organisation.
