Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking an ambitious Operations & Supply Chain Supervisor for the Sydney Distribution Centre. You will oversee inventory accuracy, analyze data, and support cycle counts while driving SOP development and staff capability.

Qualifications

  • A degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, Analytics, or related discipline.
  • Strong analytical skills with Excel and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
  • Experience in warehousing, logistics, inventory management, or operations is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Support inventory accuracy, visibility, and control across the distribution centre
  • Analyse inventory and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
  • Assist with cycle counts, inventory reconciliations, variance investigations, and root cause analysis
  • Utilise warehouse and inventory management systems (such as SAP and WMS) to maintain data integrity and support reporting
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and training materials
  • Support onboarding, training, and capability development for warehouse and inventory team members
  • Partner with operational leaders to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant warehouse operations
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational performance and customer outcomes

What You'll Do

About You

We're looking for someone with strong learning agility, curiosity, and problem-solving capability. While previous industry experience is advantageous, we value potential and attitude just as highly.

You will bring:
  • A degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, Analytics, or a related discipline
  • Strong analytical skills with confidence using Excel and other data analysis tools
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • A proactive mindset and genuine interest in operations, logistics, and supply chain management
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, inventory management, or operations is desirable but not essential.
