Job summary

Lindsay Fresh Logistics Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled supervisor to oversee a team of drivers at the Brisbane Market Rocklea site. You will oversee day‑to‑day transport operations, allocate runs, and ensure timely deliveries in a fast-paced environment.

Lead by example with a focus on safety, fatigue management, and process compliance while mentoring drivers and coordinating rosters. A strong planning mindset and clear communication are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport operations, fleet coordination, or supervision.
• Proven ability to allocate runs, schedule drivers and manage changing priorities.
• Strong knowledge of transport safety, fatigue management and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

Why You'll Love This Role

Lindsay Fresh, part of the Lindsay Australia Group, provides a range of logistics services including transhipping, ripening, produce storage, cross-docking, fumigation and import/export services. Based within the Brisbane Markets at Rocklea, this role is responsible for overseeing a team of up to 20 drivers and ensuring runs are efficiently allocated, scheduled and delivered in a fast-paced, time-sensitive transport environment. This is a Monday to Friday dayshift position, giving you the opportunity to lead a team and make a real impact on the day-to-day operation.

What You'll Do

• Supervise drivers and provide clear direction across daily transport operations
• Plan, allocate and adjust runs to meet customer, operational and delivery requirements
• Coordinate driver rosters, start times and vehicle availability

What You'll Bring

• Previous experience in transport operations, fleet coordination, allocation or supervision
• Demonstrated experience allocating runs, scheduling drivers and responding to changing priorities
• Sound knowledge of transport safety, fatigue management and compliance requirements
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively lead and manage drivers
• Strong planning and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
• Flexibility and resilience, with the ability to manage changing priorities
• Solid computer skills and confidence using transport or scheduling systems
• Well-developed communication and problem-solving skills
