Opal ANZ is seeking an Operations Manager at our Altona, VIC site. The role focuses on overseeing contractors, equipment, supply chain, and customer service to ensure efficient recycling operations.

You will source contractor services, manage equipment servicing, resolve customer issues, and drive inventory planning to meet business outcomes. Experience in ERP systems and building strategic relationships is essential.

• Experience in transport, logistics or depot environments.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage staff.
• Ability to develop relationships across levels of the org.
• Strong data analysis and presentation skills for decision making.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations, contractors, equipment, supply chain and customer service.
• Source and engage contractor services for collection operations.
• Manage equipment servicing and repairs provided to customers.
• Resolve customer complaints and service issues promptly.
• Plan, schedule and manage inventory flow to meet business outcomes.
• Ensure supply chain logistics are timely, cost-effective and reliable.
• Drive continuous improvement to improve business efficiencies.
