Job summary

Blue Wealth Property, based in Sydney, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to own the day-to-day operational performance of the business. The role partners with the General Manager and leadership team to drive action from priorities, improve processes and systems, and ensure compliance across licensing, AML/CTF and staff requirements.

Job description

Blue Wealth Property is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day operational performance of our business.

This is a broad, senior role working closely with our General Manager and leadership team. You'll be right in the middle of the business, helping our people work better together, improving the way we do things and turning business priorities into action and results.

We're looking for someone practical, commercially minded and solutions focused. Someone who sees a problem, takes ownership and says "leave it with me."

The Role

You will be responsible for:

Overseeing day-to-day business operations and coordinating activity across teams.

Turning management priorities into clear actions, owners and timelines.

Identifying and resolving operational issues before they become bigger problems.

Monitoring operational KPIs, service standards and business performance.

Leading process improvement, operational projects and change initiatives.

Improving systems, workflows and ways of working across the business.

Identifying opportunities to use technology, automation and AI to improve efficiency.

Overseeing compliance obligations including real estate licensing, AML/CTF and staff compliance requirements.

Managing operational risk, policies, procedures, registers and controls.

Acting as the business owner for key operational systems including our proprietary-built CRM and compliance platforms.

Overseeing key suppliers, subscriptions, contracts and operational expenditure.

Supporting managers to improve accountability, productivity and team effectiveness.

The role has genuine breadth across operations, systems, compliance, projects and business improvement.

About You

You will ideally have:

Significant experience in operations or business management.

Strong commercial judgement and the ability to work across multiple areas of a business.

A track record of taking ownership, making decisions and solving problems.

Strong people, stakeholder and project-management skills.

Experience improving processes, systems and operational performance.

Confidence working with technology and systems.

Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

Experience working in a regulated environment and taking ownership of compliance.

Strong judgement, attention to detail and accountability.

Experience in property, real estate, financial services or another regulated industry would be highly regarded.

But just as importantly, you'll be someone who enjoys being part of a team, builds great relationships and gets genuine satisfaction from making things work better.
