Job summary

Nicriel Partners Pty, an Australian owned manufacturer, is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee production, procurement, maintenance, quality and transport across a busy site. You will drive continuous improvement, align operations with strategic goals, and lead a skilled team with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

The role suits an Operations Manager or a Production Manager ready to step up, with tertiary qualification and proven ERP experience.

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Operations Manager to join an Australian owned manufacturer with over fifty years of experience in manufacturing high quality industrial products.

Across a network of clients in the infrastructure, construction, mining and manufacturing sectors, they have a customer centric approach to innovation and service that has built a reputation of being reliable and trusted with their clients.

Within this role you will be responsible for overseeing operational departments across production, procurement, maintenance, quality and transport for one manufacturing site, ensuring the timely and efficient production of a range of existing and new products in an industrial manufacturing environment, where safety and quality are of paramount importance.

You will also be responsible for improving business processes and procedures and the continuous improvement of the plant, whilst playing an integral part of the management team, ensuring long-term management of the plant is in line with strategic goals.

To be successful in this role, you will either be an Operations Manager or a Production Manager ready to take the next step in your career into an Operations Manager role. Ideally tertiary qualified in a relevant discipline, you will have experience working with an integrated ERP system, have excellent people management skills, as well as possessing strong communication skills both written and verbal.

In addition, you will demonstrate an awareness of the impact of technical, marketing and financial aspects within a manufacturing plant and have a versatile, considered and agile approach to decision making.
