Job summary

ES Logistics in Capalaba, Queensland, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily freight and logistics operations on-site. You will manage business activities, strengthen senior client relationships, and supervise carrier partnerships to ensure reliable service.

You will lead projects, drive process improvements, analyse freight data, and produce client reports, ensuring safety standards and regulatory compliance across national, overnight, and same-day services.

• Demonstrated experience in logistics, freight management, or supply chain operations.
• Strong skills in operations planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to manage national, overnight, and same-day freight services.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of identifying root causes and implementing effective operational solutions.
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills for working with internal teams, carriers, and customers, including the ability to manage expectations and resolve issues.

Role Description

The Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Capalaba, QLD, responsible for overseeing daily freight and logistics operations. This role covers business management, senior client relationship management and oversight of the Carrier relationships maintained by the staff. Managing and/or overseeing projects and improvement initiatives.
