Northpsych in Sydney seeks an experienced operations leader to run the small admin team day-to-day, with real freedom to build and improve the systems behind compliance, client service, and general operations.

The role operates in an AHPRA-regulated environment and requires practical problem-solving, systems thinking, and autonomous decision-making to keep operations smooth and audit-ready across multiple sites.

Qualifications

Proven experience leading admin teams in regulated environments.
Ability to design and document internal processes.
Strong problem-solving and systemic thinking.
Comfort working autonomously with minimal governance.

Responsibilities

Lead a passionate admin team, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance.
Design, document and continuously improve internal processes and workflows.
Be the calm, sensible point of contact when issues arise and resolve them.
Maintain audit readiness by tracking compliance obligations and reporting.
Manage workload and priorities across the team.
Oversee finances including P&L management and operations strategy across locations.
Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks before they become issues.
Mentor the team and foster a capable, calm culture.
Liaise with accounts, regulators and external providers efficiently.
Contribute to broader operational and business planning.
