Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience managing fast food or takeaway environments.
• Proven ability to lead a team in busy service.
• Experience with rostering, stock control, ordering and cash handling.
• Knowledge of food safety and workplace safety.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to monitor operating costs while maintaining standards.
• Roster availability for early starts, evenings and weekends.
• Hospitality or management qualifications desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Supervise kitchen and counter staff, allocate duties and coordinate service during busy periods.
• Prepare staff rosters and manage staffing levels to meet customer demand and operating budgets.
• Recruit, train and support team members, monitor performance and communicate workplace procedures.
• Oversee food preparation, portion control, presentation and order accuracy to maintain consistent standards.
• Monitor stock levels, place orders, check deliveries and manage stock rotation to minimise waste.
• Monitor sales, labour costs and food costs, and report store performance to the owner.
• Manage point-of-sale procedures, cash handling and daily reconciliation.
• Resolve customer enquiries and complaints professionally.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene, cleaning and work health and safety procedures and records.
