Job summary

The Shift People Pty Ltd is recruiting an Operations Support / Data Analyst for a client in Lismore. This role sits at the intersection of operations, data analysis and frontline support, with a 4-month term and 3 days per week.

Reporting to a locally based Manager, you will gather and analyse data, monitor operational performance, and provide practical insights to frontline teams. You’ll also assist with compliance checks and communications during change initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in operations support and data analysis.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into insights.
• Ability to produce regular reports and summaries for stakeholders.
• Solid capability across the Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel).

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and interpret operational and banking data.
• Identify trends and generate regular reports and summaries.
• Provide insights, recommendations and follow-up briefings.
• Monitor day-to-day operational processes to ensure things run smoothly.
• Support operational issues (e.g. ATM outages and escalation pathways).
• Assist with compliance and regulatory checks.
• Support change initiatives, including communications to frontline teams.
• Interpreting policies and procedures and assisting branch teams with queries.
• Liaising with internal teams such as core banking, product and digital banking.
