Job summary

Guardian Fencing is seeking an organised Operations Coordinator to support commercial fencing projects in our Oakleigh South base. You will coordinate day-to-day project schedules, installers and workshop activities, ensuring jobs are prepared and delivered on time.

You will read basic construction drawings, liaise with trades, suppliers and clients, and resolve issues across multiple sites. This hands-on role requires strong planning and clear communication to keep projects running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, trades, fabrication, manufacturing, project coordination or a similar environment.
• Experience coordinating trades or field teams is highly regarded
• Strong planning, organisation and communication skills
• Confident dealing with tradespeople, suppliers and clients
• Ability to read basic construction drawings/plans
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable managing multiple jobs at once
• Able to take ownership, follow up people and ensure tasks are completed
• Fencing, gate, steel fabrication or commercial construction experience is advantageous but not essential

Guardian Fencing is a growing commercial fencing contractor based in Oakleigh South. We are looking for an organised, proactive and hands-on Operations Coordinator to help manage the day-to-day coordination of our projects, installation teams and workshop. This is not purely an administration role. We are looking for someone who enjoys coordinating people and projects, solving day-to-day operational issues and making sure jobs are properly prepared and delivered.
