Job summary

Cornerstone HR is seeking experienced Fence Installers to join our growing team across commercial, industrial, infrastructure and residential projects in Victoria. You will install security fencing, gates and barriers, read basic drawings, measure and set out lines, and perform site preparations with hand and power tools.

A Construction White Card is required; EWP, forklift or traffic management qualifications are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in fencing, construction, civil works or related trade.
• Security fencing installation experience is highly regarded.
• Confident with hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret basic drawings and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Install security fencing (palisade, welded mesh, chain‑link, tubular).
• Install gates, bollards and security barriers.
• Measure, set out fence lines and position posts.
• Excavate, set posts and concrete footings.
• Cut and fit fencing panels, rails and hardware.
• Check levels, alignment and workmanship; maintain safe site.
• Use hand and power tools safely; keep worksite clean and organized.

Experienced Fence Installer? Join a Growing Team.

We are seeking reliable and experienced Fence Installers to join our installation team, working across commercial, industrial, infrastructure and residential projects.

This is a hands-on role installing security fencing, gates, barriers and associated products. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, works safely and enjoys being part of a professional team.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Installing security fencing, including palisade, welded mesh, chain-link and tubular steel systems.
• Installing pedestrian, swing and sliding gates, bollards and security barriers.
• Measuring, setting out fence lines and positioning posts.
• Excavating post holes, installing posts and completing concrete footings.
• Cutting, fitting and securing fencing panels, rails, brackets and hardware.
• Checking levels, alignment and finished workmanship.
• Using hand and power tools safely.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised worksite.

Experience with automated gates, access control, core drilling, chemical anchors or basic welding will be highly regarded.

About You

You will ideally have:

• Previous fencing, construction, civil works or related trade experience.
• Security fencing installation experience (highly regarded).
• Confidence using hand and power tools.
• Good measuring skills and the ability to read basic drawings.
• A practical, hands-on approach and good attention to detail.
• A strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
