Job summary

Talison Lithium is seeking a results-driven Production Leader to oversee safe, coordinated production across crushing and processing plants in the Greenbushes region. You will report to the Operational Superintendent and work with maintenance and support teams to meet production targets.

The role requires a strong safety focus, experience in similar operations, and demonstrated leadership, analytical thinking and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead production planning to meet targets across crushing and processing plants.

• Ensure safety standards and procedures are followed.

• Coordinate ore feed to processing plants and maintain equipment isolation for maintenance.
• Collaborate with support teams to achieve production priorities.

Job Description

Reporting to the Operational Superintendent, this key leadership position is responsible for achieving and exceeding production targets by providing a safe, coordinated, and supportive focus to all teams. The successful applicant will work closely with support teams across multiple crushing and processing plants.

• Maintaining a strong safety focus;
• Planning and directing production activities to the processing plant shift supervisors in line with production priorities;
• Liaising with the Maintenance Department in relation to plant shut down and maintenance requirements;
• Planning and coordinating plant shutdowns and start ups;
• Coordinating the equipment isolation required for maintenance and shutdowns;
• Coordinating the crushing activities to ensure required ore feed is maintained to processing plants; and
• Ensuring all operating standards and procedures are adhered to.

About the Candidate

• Demonstrated commitment to safety in the workplace;
• Experience in a similar role or industry related experience;
• Analytical, decision making and problem solving skills;
• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills;
• Cert IV in Frontline Management is desirable and
• Hold a current Section 26 (S26) qualification under the Work Health and Safety Act 2020 (WA) (or ability to obtain prior to commencement).
