We're looking for an energetic and hands-on Operations Coordinator to join a busy construction equipment hire business in Canberra.
This is a key operational position working across a team of approximately 10-15 people, helping coordinate daily activities, workloads, equipment and customer requirements.
If you're a natural organiser, communicate well with people and enjoy solving problems in a fast-moving environment, this could be an excellent opportunity to build a long-term career in operations.
$75,000 - $90,000 + Super | Full-Time Permanent
Working closely with management, you'll help coordinate the day-to-day operations of a busy equipment hire depot.
You'll work across the yard, workshop, administration and customer-facing teams, helping ensure priorities are communicated, equipment is ready when required and daily operations run efficiently.
This isn't a role where you'll spend the entire day behind a desk. You'll be involved with the team, customers and equipment while keeping the operation organised.
We're looking for someone with:
Equipment hire experience isn't essential. Candidates from construction, logistics, transport, warehousing, workshops or other fast-paced operational environments are encouraged to apply.
We're looking for someone with energy, initiative and a good head on their shoulders.
You're comfortable communicating with different personalities, setting priorities and making sure everyone knows what needs to happen throughout the day.
You don't need to be a traditional "manager" or "supervisor". What matters is that you can organise people, communicate clearly, solve problems and keep operations moving.
We're particularly interested in someone looking for stability and the opportunity to establish a long-term career within the business.
Our client is an established construction equipment hire business supporting construction, civil and infrastructure customers across the ACT.
Operating a diverse fleet of machinery and equipment, the business has developed a strong reputation for reliability, customer service and a practical approach to getting the job done.
The company offers a stable, team-focused environment where employees are encouraged to take ownership, contribute ideas and develop their careers as the business continues to grow.
