Job summary

NSW Health / Sydney Children's Hospital Network (SCHN) at Westmead seeks an Operations Assistant to support perioperative services, helping with patient movement, room readiness and infection-control practices.

This Temporary Full Time role (38 hours per week) offers a base salary of around 67,094 to 68,847 AUD plus 12% superannuation, 17.5% leave loading and salary packaging, with flexible benefits and an equal opportunity workplace.

Responsibilities

• Work within a team environment to maintain the highest standard of support necessary to facilitate the care and movement of patients within the Perioperative services in a reliable, timely and effective manner.
• To ensure a high standard of cleanliness is maintained in all areas of the Operating Suite, Recovery ward, Middleton and CSSD.
• To assist within the Operating Rooms with patient care and positioning as directed by Registered Nurse, Surgeon or Anaesthetist.
