Michael Page partners with a proud Western Australian company to strengthen its operational accounting team with a newly created role. You will report to the Finance Manager and manage financial and management reporting, costing, and inventory processes.

The successful candidate will be CPA qualified with manufacturing/industrial or construction sector experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with financial software.

Qualifications

• CPA qualified with experience in manufacturing/industrial/construction sectors.
• Background in cost/accounting roles (Cost/Management/Project Accountant).
• Ability to work 9 Saturdays a week with TOIL provided.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and reporting tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsabilités

Job Description

Reporting into the Finance Manager, the key duties of this role include:

• Ensure accurate financial and management reporting.
• Operational accounting duties, such as: raw materials analysis, work in progress (WIP) and product cost allocation.
• Co-ordinate stocktakes and provide accurate reporting of finished goods.
• Daily inventory management.
• Standard costing and stock pricing modelling.
• Year end provisions.
• Supporting End of Financial Year Audit.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will possess the following traits:

• CPA Qualified.
• Background working within the manufacturing, industrial or construction sector.
• Prior exposure within a Cost Accountant, Management Accountant or Project Accountant role.
• Ability to work 9 Saturdays a week (with time in liu/TOIL provided).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and reporting tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
