Job summary

Talent Corp in Brisbane is seeking a resilient System Analyst/Support Analyst for first-line functional support of business-critical operational systems. You will triage incidents, serve ITSM processes, and follow runbooks to resolve issues swiftly.

The twelve-month contract is Brisbane-based, offering daily rate of $660 and opportunities to collaborate with cross-functional teams across airline/transport operations.

Qualifications

• Experience as a System Analyst, Application Support Analyst, Systems Support Analyst or similar.
• Strong experience providing functional application or systems support.
• Experience with incident management, service requests, troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Ability to follow established runbooks while using analytical thinking to investigate issues.
• Exposure to ITSM processes and service management/ticketing platforms.
• Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience within airline, aviation, transport, logistics or another operationally critical environment will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line functional support for business-critical operational systems.
• Triage, investigate and progress incidents, service requests and system issues.
• Resolve assigned issues within established procedures and service levels.
• Follow established runbooks, troubleshooting procedures and escalation pathways.
• Capture accurate incident records, troubleshooting steps, evidence and resolutions.
• Escalate complex issues to appropriate technical or application support teams.
• Communicate effectively with business users throughout the incident lifecycle.
• Assist with identifying recurring issues and opportunities for service improvement.
• Maintain support documentation, procedures and knowledge articles.
• Collaborate with operational, application and technology teams to maintain reliable system services.
