Job summary

Randstad is recruiting an Internal Audit Manager for a 6-month contract based in Macquarie Park, New South Wales. You will lead risk-based financial and operational audits across Australian operations, delivering assurance to senior leadership and supporting the move to permanent roles for the right candidate.

The role requires strong governance, control evaluation, and stakeholder management, with experience in telecom or large corporate environments and proficiency in Excel, TeamMate, and ACL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; professional certifications (CA/CPA/CIA) preferred.
• Big4/internal audit experience in telecom or large corporate setting.
• Strong analytical, risk assessment, and process evaluation capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Advanced Excel; familiarity with TeamMate and ACL is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and report on financial and operational audits.
• Review business processes to evaluate controls, operating efficiency, and compliance with regulations and policies.
• Identify weaknesses and collaborate with business units to implement actionable recommendations.
• Engage with management to discuss findings and action plans.
• Draft clear audit reports for executive leadership and ensure action plans are followed.
• Promote audit standards and a culture of risk awareness across the organisation.
