Job summary

Transport for NSW seeks an experienced procurement leader to head a small team delivering operational procurement outcomes that align with strategic priorities. You will partner with stakeholders, coach team members, and drive a customer-focused, solutions-oriented approach to procurement.

Drawing on robust commercial judgement and risk-aware advice, you will balance leadership with hands-on delivery, influence decisions, and contribute to continuous improvement across procurement services.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and developing teams in a procurement or commercial environment.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to provide practical, risk-aware advice and influence decision-making.
• Sound commercial judgement and a focus on outcomes.
• Experience using procurement systems such as SAP, Ariba or similar.
