Job summary

The Australian National Maritime Museum seeks an experienced Operational Finance Manager to lead its operational finance and procurement functions. This 12-month, full-time leadership role focuses on advising senior leaders, guiding financial governance and improving service delivery across the organisation.

You will lead, mentor and develop a high-performing Finance team, fostering accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement in a customer-focused environment.

Join the Australian National Maritime Museum as our Operational Finance Manager, leading the Museum's operational finance and procurement functions and helping shape strong financial management, governance and decision-making across the organisation. This is a full-time, non-ongoing opportunity for 12 months.

This is an influential leadership opportunity for an experienced finance professional who enjoys combining strategic thinking with hands-on operational leadership. You'll provide trusted financial advice to senior leaders, oversee key financial management and procurement activities, identify risks and opportunities, and drive improvements that strengthen capability, performance and service delivery.

You'll also lead, mentor and develop a high-performing Finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement and customer-focused service.
