Job summary

Chandler Macleod in Port Macquarie is seeking a hands-on Continuous Improvement/Operations Lead to drive how work gets done across a division. This role is practical and delivery-focused, identifying opportunities, creating structure, and driving initiatives through to implementation.

You will improve operational effectiveness, align processes, standardize ways of working, and collaborate with stakeholders, with the Head of People & Culture sponsoring the efforts.

• Experience leading business improvement or transformation initiatives.
• Ability to create structure and accountability in fast-moving environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate change, improvement and operational initiatives across the business.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency and enhance ways of working.
• Drive continuous improvement projects from concept through to implementation and adoption.
• Review, align and standardise processes to create consistency across teams and functions.
• Develop and document processes, procedures, workflows and SOPs.
• Leverage AI and technology tools to improve productivity, documentation and operational effectiveness.
• Facilitate workshops, project meetings and stakeholder forums to drive outcomes and accountability.
• Establish project plans, timelines, actions and governance to ensure successful delivery.
• Monitor progress, remove roadblocks and ensure initiatives achieve intended business outcomes.
• Build strong relationships across the organisation and support people through change.
