Job summary

Infosys seeks a senior platform engineer to lead migrating the internal platform from an RKE-based deployment to OpenShift. You’ll own the migration from design through to handover, working with SMEs. Location: Sydney, Salary: AUD 142,604-159,547 Annual Gross. Flexible hybrid working arrangements.

The role requires strong OpenShift expertise, platform migration experience, and the ability to drive a cross-functional transformation with a strong emphasis on reliability and customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience leading platform migration projects, preferably telecom or network operators.
• Strong OpenShift design, deployment and administration skills.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing abilities.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end migration of the platform from RKE to OpenShift (design to productization).
• Participate in platform re-architecture decisions with SMEs.
• Stand up and configure the OpenShift environment with parity/improvement over the current platform.
• Implement full operationalization: monitoring, alerting and alarm integration.
• Onboard L1/L2 support onto the new platform, including runbooks and processes.
• Take complete technical ownership of the migration programme and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Support APIGee integration points as required.
