Job summary

Evolution Mining is seeking an experienced Ancillary Operator for open pit mining at Cowal, West Wyalong, NSW. You will safely operate dozers, excavators, graders and water carts to meet production targets, using Minestar GPS and maintaining logs and documentation.

Join a safety‑driven, high‑performing crew on a 7:7 roster with 12‑hour days. Relocation support is available and you will contribute to continuous improvement and site safety.

Qualifications

• 18+ months of open-pit mining or quarry production experience.
• Experience operating dozer, excavator, grader or water cart.
• Valid manual Australian driver's licence.
• Ability to work a panelled roster and onsite relocation to West Wyalong.
• Strong safety, teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment to design tolerances and production targets.
• Conduct pre-start inspections and log maintenance data.
• Maintain pit conditions, road works and stockpiles.
• Support production teams and ensure safe interactions with fleets.
