Job summary

Evolution Mining is seeking a Mining Engineer to translate mine plans into safe, efficient production at Cowal Operations. Based on site, you will collaborate with geology, survey and geotechnical teams to optimise short-term plans and drive operational excellence.

You will work an 8:6 roster with 12-hour shifts, gaining exposure to growth projects and a future mine plan that expands opportunities across surface and underground work. Relocation support and corporate benefits are offered.

Qualifications

Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering or equivalent.
2+ years in an open pit mining engineering role.
Experience in mine planning and scheduling is essential.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and drive short-term mine plans that support operational success.
Influence site performance through effective stakeholder engagement.
Support drill and blast design, scheduling and operational execution.
Analyse production performance and identify improvement opportunities.
Contribute to the successful delivery of mining projects from planning to execution.
Ensure plans are communicated clearly and delivered safely across site teams.
