Job summary

Evolution Mining, a premier gold company operating across Australia, seeks a Mining Coordinator at Northparkes to support the safe and efficient execution of open pit mining strategy. You will serve as the critical link between Northparkes Operations and mining contractors, coordinating activities and overseeing contractor performance.

This hands-on role requires strong stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills to deliver positive outcomes across the operation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a mining, operational coordination or supervisory role.
• Demonstrated supervision or leadership experience, ideally within mining or heavy industry environments.
• Strong safety focus and commitment to risk management principles.
• Well-developed interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking capability.
• Technical report writing and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate mining activities between Northparkes Operations and mining contractors to support safe and efficient project execution.
• Monitor and oversee safety and performance of projects undertaken by the E31 mining team.
• Ensure contractors achieve high standards of safety, compliance and operational performance.
• Coordinate and provide feedback on contractor work programs and completed activities to site management.
• Monitor water and consumable usage across contractor activities within the open pit operation.
• Identify risks to the mining schedule and proactively develop recommendations and solutions.
• Support routine maintenance activities, housekeeping and site improvement initiatives.
• Work collaboratively across mining, processing, technical services, survey and asset management teams to coordinate operational requirements.
