Job summary

Evolution Mining is seeking a Mining Coordinator at Northparkes Operations, reporting to the Open Pit Mining Superintendent. You will coordinate activities between operations and contractors to drive safe, efficient execution and timely delivery of projects.

This hands-on role requires strong stakeholder engagement, problem solving and coordination across mining, processing, and technical services teams to support the open pit strategy and E28NE project readiness.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a mining, operational coordination or supervisory role.
• Strong safety focus and risk management.
• Well-developed interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Project).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate mining activities between Northparkes Operations and mining contractors to support safe and efficient project execution.
• Monitor and oversee safety and performance of projects undertaken by the E31 mining team.
• Ensure contractors achieve high standards of safety, compliance and operational performance.
• Coordinate and provide feedback on contractor work programs and completed activities to site management.
• Monitor water and consumable usage across contractor activities within the open pit operation.
• Identify risks to the mining schedule and proactively develop recommendations and solutions.
• Support routine maintenance activities, housekeeping and site improvement initiatives.
• Work collaboratively across mining, processing, technical services, survey and asset management teams.
