Extend After School Care is seeking an OOSH Relief Service Coordinator at St Peter Chanel Catholic Primary School, Regents Park, NSW. The role involves planning engaging after-school activities, supervising safety, and preparing healthy snacks during the 2:40 PM to 6:30 PM window from Monday to Friday.

The contract is casual, with a 5-week fixed roster starting 27 October 2026 and potential ongoing relief opportunities.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor’s/Master’s in Early Childhood or related field.
• Valid Working With Children Check and safety certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and run engaging activities (science, sports, arts) that kids enjoy.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive environment where every child feels valued.
• Prepare healthy snacks to maintain energy levels.
• Collaborate with Programs Engagement Manager on assessments and compliance.
• Coordinate day-to-day service operations to ensure smooth delivery of OSHC programs.

About your service: St Peter Chanel Catholic Primary School located in Regents Park, NSW

Hourly Rate: $49.88 - $52.15 Per Hour (Including Worker Retention Payment Scheme) + 12% Super.

• After School Care: 2:40 PM to 6:30 PM.
• Days Required: Monday to Friday.
• Contract Type: Casual (5-weeks fixed roster, commencing 27 October 2026 with strong potential for ongoing relief opportunity with other partnerships around the region).
• Professional development sessions are paid training sessions, and Retention payments are above award.

As our OOSH Relief Service Coordinator you will:

• Safety First, Fun Always: Lead a safe, inclusive environment while every child feels like a rockstar.
• Chef it up: Whip up healthy, tasty snacks that keep the energy levels high.
• Champion Quality: Work with your Programs Engagement Manager on Assessment & Ratings with the full backing of our compliance experts at our unit TEG Compass.
• The Community Connector: Ensure every stakeholder is heard and valued while building successful, integrated OSHC programs.
• The Clockwork Catalyst: Manage the day-to-day "business" of the service, ensuring everything runs like clockwork.

• The Qualification: You’ve got (or are studying toward) a Diploma, Bachelor’s, Masters in Early Childhood, Primary Teaching, or School Aged Care, Youth Work, Community Services, and more. Check with us if your qualification is approved! (Desirable but not essential).
